Wherever You Walk In, Walk Out With a Clear Next Step to Act On.

Schools often have more agency than they realize to access low-cost capital that meets their facilities needs, but it's not one size fits all.

After walking through product options across the financing lifecycle, the session will move into a guided case study: in small groups, you'll review realistic school profiles and make a call on whether a school is ready for financing, which products, and on what terms.

You'll analyze the same inputs lenders and investors scrutinize, compare structures and tradeoffs, and surface the questions to bring to your board. Leave with a clear roadmap and a sharp lens for assessing bond readiness.

Led by: Eugene Clark-Herra (Orrick) and Mike McGregor (Children First Capital)

This hands-on interactive session explores the routines that keep buildings running, drawing on real examples from schools doing it well today and the Mastering the Blueprint hub.

Dig into preventative maintenance, vendor management, and internal accountability, then pressure-test your own setup: who owns what, how you manage vendors, where the gaps are.

By the end, you'll have frameworks to move from reactive fixes to preventative maintenance to cut costs and protect your building, plus the resources to keep it going long after NCSC.
